Carpathian background overview.
In today's rapidly changing world, humanity faces a large number of issues that require immediate resolution.
17 sustainable development goals adopted by the UN and most of the countries of the planet Earth give us the opportunity to solve today's problems of mankind and guarantee a future for our children.
The Carpathian region is the center of Europe. This territory is rich in natural resources and hard-working people. This territory can be a source of abundance and sustainable development for the whole Europe.
The IBSDF Charitable Fund is proud to start implementation of one of its significant programs - the creation of the International Carpathian Permaculture Center - "CIPREC".
Understanding and insight of SDG by the inhabitants of the region, the study of existing ecosystems and local biota; animals, forests, rivers, lakes precise manage, regeneration and restoration -all these are only a small part of tasks we are to realize with the existence of this Centre.
CIPREC
At the end of February 2018 we have started The Program of establishing the Carpathian International Permaculture Research Educational Center (CIPREC) in 2018.
The total area of the Center is about 20 Hectares. The modern pastures area for the goats will about 15 hectares. The permaculture farm and vegetable garden area - about 2 hectares. And the gardens will be about 3 hectares.
In this center, we are to realize the whole volume of the permaculture practices that exist today.
Moreover, we implement the maximum available to date experience of existing ecovillages around the world. We realize the experience of creating an edible garden forest, cultivating the soil without digging and without use of chemicals, cognitive techniques, sciences, the principles of harmonious interaction of man and the biosphere.
We intend to realize this program in cooperation with Government of Ukraine, European Union, European Commission, UNDP, UNESCO, GEN and other international organizations in order to share the experience worldwide and get appropriate funding.
Our mission
The purpose of the Center is to restore and preserve forests, to spread the information on modern methods of agroforestry and environmental protection, to reduce global CO2 emissions, to achieve the Ukrainian and worldwide Sustainable Development Goals, to cooperate with the European Union, to improve socio-cultural cross-border links, to restore traditional crafts, to create green tourism objects and to develop Ukrainian agriculture.
As well as to conduct international conferences, seminars, workshops and training programs.
The Program of creation of the CENTER is realized for two years and includes:
- Creation of 10 workplaces; (58% - for women)
- Construction of a center room of 100 sq.m.
- Building a room for keeping goats 300 sq.m
- Organization of modern pastures of goats using an electric park;
- Organization of a scientific research area for the study and restoration of forests;
- Formation of the breeding stock of goats Carpathian, Saanen and Nubian breeds (broodstock 15 goats);
- Creating a breeder;

- Creating cheese-making production base;
- Preparation of publications and scientific works;
- Involving young people and students in the program.
- Distribution of knowledge about the biosphere, permaculture, biodynamic agriculture, methods of nature conservation and renewal of the resources of the planet;
These objects will be built using natural materials and modern technologies for geodesic domes construction;
All research work will be carried out with the participation of relevant scientists from local and international universities, specialists from the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Ministry of Ecology of Ukraine.
To date, in the Ukrainian part of the Carpathian mountains there is no eco friendly hydropower plants. One of our significant tasks is the implementation of the existing modern innovative method of power generation with the help of vortex modern micro hydroelectric power stations that allow not to block the flow of water to save lives for the inhabitants of the water.
Thus ensure sustainable water and food security in the region.
